BRANCH MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION
The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, operational efficiency, compliance, customer service, and financial performance of the Branch. The incumbent will ensure that all banking activities are conducted in accordance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while fostering a high-performing and customer-focused team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership, supervision and support to all Branch employees.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Branch, ensuring efficient and accurate service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, internal controls and AML/CFT requirements.
- Oversee branch treasury operations, ATMs, night safe activities, cash management and custodial responsibilities.
- Monitor and authorize customer transactions, account openings, foreign exchange transactions and other banking activities as required.
- Drive the achievement of Branch business goals, service standards, and financial targets.
- Promote the Bank’s products and services and build strong customer relationships.
- Manage branch risk, security, operational controls and the protection of Bank assets.
- Ensure a safe, professional, and productive working environment.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for Senior Management as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of Six (6) CSEC subjects, including Mathematics and English Language.
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of four (4) years’ supervisory or management experience, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Sound knowledge of banking operations, customer service, compliance, and risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
