How to Enter

To participate, persons must apply for an individual credit card facility during the Visa Department’s anniversary month of December. The promotional period to apply will be from December 1st to 31st, 2024, but approval from the Bank can occur after that period and still qualify for the draw. Eligibility

• The draw is open to residents of Guyana who are 18 years of age or older.
• Applicants must not currently hold, nor have previously held, a credit card with Demerara Bank.
• Applications must be approved, and the applicant must accept and fulfill all required conditions in order to be eligible for the draw.
• Non-account holders of Demerara Bank are also eligible to apply.
• Employees of the Bank and their immediate family members are ineligible to participate.

Prize

• Grand Prize
  A four-day, three-night all-inclusive stay for two at the Savannah Beach Club Hotel in Barbados, from March 6th to 9th, 2025. Note, meals and drinks are included as part of the package.
• Consolation Prize
  A four-day, three-night trip for two to the Rupununi; travel dates to be arranged between February and April 2025 with Touring Guyana. The winner’s preferred tour date may have to be rescheduled on the condition that the touring agency’s minimum criteria of 9 persons was not achieved. Note: tours, accommodation and dinner are included in the package and the offer is valid for three months.

Draw Date

The draw will take place during the month of January, 2025.The winners will be notified via telephone calls and/or emails after the draw.

Winner Announcement

The names of the winners will be published on our social media pages and website after completion of the draw. By entering, participants consent to the use of their name and presentation photograph for promotional purposes.

Prize Conditions

• In the event that a winner is unable to claim their prize or participate in the trip, the prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation.
• If the Bank is unable to contact a winner within two weeks of the draw, the Bank reserves the right to select an alternative winner from the pool of eligible entrants.

Personal data collected during the promotion will be handled in accordance with the Bank’s privacy policy. Please note, however, that the names and contact details of the winners will be shared with the designated travel agents solely for the purpose of finalizing travel arrangements.
